Florida won't take the overpaid and now third line center and a overpaid scratched defenseman
Trocheck - scores at .6 ppg in the NHL over 228 games - last 2 seasons over 50 points
RNH - scores at .67 ppg in the NHL over 395 games = last 2 seasons below 45 points.

Fayne - Played in the AHL last season with 4 NHL games at 30 years old
Pysyk - Played all 82 games in the NHL last season and had 17 points at 25 years old.

HOWEVER;

I would guess though that if Edmonton went to Las Vegas with an offer like this they could get Merrill or Sbisa and Eakin or Merrill or Sbisa and Neal.
Neal would be great to play beside CMD or Drai with Strome playing 3rd line Center.

It's definitely a good deal for the Oilers, if that's what you're asking, but not for the Panthers. Whether you could sweeten it enough for Florida to even agree to a 1-1 swap, that raises their salary cap hit for equal performance, I don't know? Probably depends on the standings at the trade deadline, and what pick EDM throws in.
