We already had one of if not the best defense in the league as is, so we splurged on Orlov to make it even better, great. But brought back Deangelo too? And now Jones? That’s a little overboard, and we still need a goal scoring threat to get over that hump in the playoffs.

Not this, Necas is arguably more valuable than Nylander. 15 points less, yes. But, 3 years younger, half the cap hit, and has team control? Why would the Canes add Pesce? . Stop it. It's probably Coghlan and Chatfield who move.

There’s zero reason to have this many D men when you can’t score in the playoffs year after year. Take away Pesce or Skjei and it’s still one of the league’s best.
