I doubt it. The 🌲 will make a trade. Still lots of time left. GM's are still at their cottages, staring at each other while riding their expensive boats and getting **** faced.

Maybe but he isn't in a position of weakness like many on here want. He can just say no to anything that doesn't help the team because as we can all see, they are cap compliant.

I believe the 🌲 has already turned down pennies on the dollar trades. Likely Nylander ones. It's all part of negotiating. He probably has more than a few irons in the fire. Deadlines create deals. There's no urgency right now. Leafs aren't in a position of weakness at all. That's just fan driven rhetoric.

Nothing will happen until after training camp opens and teams realize that some of the players they hoped would step forward are not ready. etc

Some will be happy with what they have on paper but when you see it on the ice its different
