if they decide to carry no extra players on the roster i would take greig over kelly and JBD over hamonic
and joseph would play on the 4th line with kastelic and macewen

They didn't sign Hamonic for him to play in Belleville. He's fine on the third pair and we'll need him for the PK. Greig will most likely play most of the year in Ottawa, but he may not start on the roster if no one else is moved. They'll try to put Joseph in a good spot playing with 2 good top 9 forwards, and probably won't want Greig playing 4LW. Once they get into a few games into the season, there won't ever be a point where there isn't at least one forward injured. He'll get his time

I didnt like the hamonic signing personally. we can easily have a 6 and 7th Defense of JBD lassi thomson manitpola kleven guenette I think it just a waste of money if we can keep joseph or kubalik its very good for our forward depth but now hamonic sigining blocks the foward depth. I see what u mean with Greig starting in the AHL just want him here playing at least 60 games this year

It's not like Hamonic is making a ton of money. He only counts ~200k more against the cap than the others you mentioned, so it's not really blocking the addition of more forward depth. I think Hamonic brought a lot to the team that people don't appreciate. He throws his body in front of every shot like no other D on the team. Besides Sanderson, this team really lacks PK specialists too so that's a roll he can and will fill. And being a veteran leader in the room on a D core where everyone is 25 and under cannot be ignored. Fans don't like him because he was playing too high in the lineup last year, but you cannot tell me he's not fit for the third pair. In the worst case scenario where he is clearly a liability, they can burry him in the minors where he won't count against the cap (like they did with MDZ), so there is absolutely zero risk with this deal. Having depth on D is so important and sens fans should know that more than anyone

Greig is better than Kelly when he’s sleeping so you send Kelly down to have Greig on the roster… similar cap
