Hyman doesn’t even make our E team, nevermind the A team

There is something wrong if Hyman and Batherson are on the team

If Kunitz makes it in 2014, Hyman makes it now

Hyman makes it because of McDavid. Batherson was just for fun because he's buddies with Marchy and Sid. If Batherson gets back to his pre-injury form, he'd make it anyway.

WOW, this team is horrendously bad and way too old. Hyman? Batherson? Giroux? Bedard on the first line when he will only have a 1.5 seasons under his belt? This is what the team WILL PROBABLY look like. Assuming Stone is injured as always:

PLD-Crosby-Bedard
Marchand-Thomas-Cozens
Barzal-Danault

Toews-Makar
Byram-Morrisey
Pelech-Theodore
Power-Pietrangelo

Put whoever you want in net.

You need to give the young guns spots on this roster especially on the backend. Byram and Power have shown more maturity in their games at their ages over guys like Ekblad, Chabot and Hamilton ever have in their careers. Respect for putting Pelech on the roster, doesn't get much love but is a lock in my opinion if Team Canada is serious about implementing their gritty and defensive game like they always do.

Your forwards are atrocious to say the least. I get why people want Hyman on the team. He's a good puck retrieval guy and has chemistry with McDavid, but you just don't need him when you have more skilled options. Giroux is far too old to be on this roster. Batherson??? Maybe, if he does make it, it'll be purely off form and the way he is playing. Don't mind the Cirelli selection, I just think Danault is a better shutdown guy.
