This is a cool idea to do for a team.

Side note: this is very optimistic lol. Kane has never came close to 40-50 goals...Brown is coming off an ACL injury and has only hit 20 goals twice in career...McLeod hasn't come close to 20 goals.

But yeah - this is still a really cool idea. Going to steal this for the Caps (which unfortunately won't be nearly as fun to do with their offense)

Kane has scored 38 in 84 regular season games in Edmonton (54 in 111 total games), and some of that time was playing with a bandaged wrist. If he's healthy he should have no problem hitting 40.

McLeod I think will break out a little bit. He was on pace for 16 last year at 23 years old, I don't see him doing worse at 24. He'll get more ice time this year.

Thanks. Before getting injured Kane had 40 goals in 72 games for the Oilers (regular season and playoffs combined), that's a 46 goal pace. If he's healthy 40 is a reasonable prediction.

Brown will be playing with one of McDavid or Draisaitl, he should have no issue hitting 20-30.

McLeod scored at a 16 goal pace last year as a 23 year old, I can see him increasing that by 25% or more.

Edmonton was the top scoring team last year, finishing with 325. Boston was 2nd with 301.

If healthy, this year's team could hit 350. For perspective, no team has scored more than 337 this century. The last team to pot >350 was the 95-96 Penguins.

Here's how:

McDavid: 55
Draisaitl: 55
Kane: 40
Hyman: 30
Nugent-Hopkins: 30
Brown: 25
Foegele: 20
McLeod: 20
Holloway: 15
Lavoie: 15
Bouchard: 15
Nurse: 12
Janmark: 10
Ryan: 10
Ekholm: 10

That's 362 without counting all the defenders who will chip in a few each. If Patrick Kane comes on board at Christmas, he could add another 15 or so too.

In any case, it's shaping up to be a fun season for Oilers fans.
