Fair if that's what you're banking on. Just figured this would be a cheap way to be cap compliant while still banking on a comeback year for a LW, just at a lower cap hit and almost no risk since only the 5th would be on a guarantee.

Pretty fair trade I'd say, since I doubt Pearson can fetch more than a 5th at TDL.
Though in this case, Geoff Molson would be paying 3.75M out of his pockets for that 5th. Does he green light that trade?
