I wouldn't trade Trocheck for Z straight up. And yes I fully am aware he is worth more but I wouldn't personally so that.

First there's about a snowballs chance in Anaheim tomorrow Trocheck waives for Anaheim and with a full NMC there's not thing they could do to force him. 2 if Zegras is involved can't see Verbeek agreeing pick protection.

Rangers say no because you just don't give up on a 21 year old 1OA. When Lafreniere figures it out and is a cornerstone of this team 5 years from now everyone will understand what I'm talking about. You do not give up that kind of asset for anyone short of McDavid or Bedard.

Trocheck is a 3rd line caliber center on a terrible contract. Zegras will put up 90-100 pts in his prime
