Description

I haven’t really seen any good chemistry between Lindholm and huberdeau except for on the power play with Kadri. One of lindholms best years was on the right side and maybe he will get going if he’s put back there atleast for a bit.

This line up is a little weaker down the middle but based on tonight’s game against Winnipeg the sharangovich-backlund-coronato seemed to develop some good chemistry so that could take some pressure off needing Lindholm to run the top line

Put Mangiapane in the top 6 over Yegor. Mang has proven to be a capable goal scorer, when utilized correctly. This past season he was not, as he was consistently placed in the bottom 6.

Other than Backlund, that’s a very weak Centre group

Kadri was -19 last season and stops skating in his own zone. He’s extremely lazy defensively, he should be moved to RW, especially since the Flames are playing Zone Defence now, which requires much more skating & defensive awareness from the Centre Position

Lindholm, Backlund, Coleman and Paul Stastny should be our 4 Centres this season AFAIC

Besides, Kadri has a Great Shot and Pass from the Right Side. Same goes for Ruzicka who should be Groomed to become a RW Power Forward as well

Cole Schwindt & Adam Klapka should be called up before Zary who needs more time to develop and speed up his game as well
