This team is going to get trashed none stop.

If they can somehow sell Hertl and Couture mid year for some nice assest, it will really help set them up better for the future.

Barabanov should get a 2nd also and Duclair will get them a bit also.

I assume they buyout Vlasic in the offseason.

This rebuild is going to take a long while lol

Trashed is the plan for another year or two.
Hertl and Cooch are staying unless they ask to leave like Burns and EK65 did. Big money and long term to move.
Barabanov problably stays and extended unless they get a 2nd at TDL.
Duclair, Grandlund, Rutta & Hoffman are TDL moves.
Zadina is a question mark on keeping, trading or just letting him go after the season.
Vlasic wont be bought out until after next year if ever. They don't need the cap savings yet and probably don't want the cap hit in 3-4 years buying him out.

This is needed and if our young guys turn into expected players they have a good future starting in 25/26. They have some decent assets in house.
Eklund, Bystedt, Smith, Musty, Havelid, Muk, Thrun, Nikita, Larouke and a lot of bottom 6 guys to go along with a top 4 (Sharks), approx. 13th-18th (Pens) and 29th+ (Devils) first round picks this year along with the TDL picks. They are moving in the right direction and shed a lot cap of the books compared to where they were just 1-year ago. Should have started 2-years ago and moved Hertl at TDL.
