It'll take more for the Flyers to help the Penguins shed salary, especially if we are sending Laughts back. Carter also will most certainly refuse to waive for a rebuilder. Frost could get a better return but its close.

Those are pretty weak returns for PHI.

Liljegren has not been a top 4 dman and looks farther away from being one every year.

Dumping carter probably cost a bit more than a 2nd right now.
