Description

I'd go so far as to say that Bouchard is the biggest reason for the team's struggles early. He's making grade-school errors on defense that simply can't happen and he and his teammates are being lit up as a result. His glaring mistakes lead to his goalies being hung out to dry which, in turn, hurts both their numbers and their mindset/play & contributes to his teammates feeling more pressure.

I'm not saying move him, but he needs to sit for 1 game minimum to reset and then maybe they can ease him back in with softer minutes while giving Kulak a similar benching once McDavid is back:

Jesus man, I just watched the highlights. The D is doing absolutely nothing to help out Soups. He made some amazing saves tonight but he just got left out to dry.

Yeah, this is why I'm reluctant to move on from Campbell. His numbers last year were completely earned but this year is a different story. I can't put this on him or Skinner.

Campbell actually played well. The stats certainly don't show it. I felt bad for him.
