Blues aren’t nearly consistent enough to consider moving this or next years first unfortunately. Hanifin would be a great piece to have though. Would also likely need to move out Leddy or Krug to do so and not take a large hit on the offense.

When I was looking at the Blues, what's up with Scandella? Is he moveable at all? A lot of posts have him as a scratch, is he a cap dump at this point?

If I never see Rittich in a Flames jersey I will be perfectly content. Switch that to Copley and reduce your expectations for a Vladar return. Targets are fine, I thikn unrealistic that they acquire that many 1st for this upcoming draft and the trade with the Oilers would need to be laden with conditions on the pick I think.

This whole post is essentially full stop at retention and the Flames brass notoriously doesn't pay guys to not play here which is such a backwards approach. Avs lineup would be deadly if LAndeskog could come back for the post season.

He’s a bottom pair guy. Personally I don’t like watching him because he has little offensive zone ability yet seems to be activated a lot. However, he’s definitely an NHL player. Recent line changes from Berube have him playing with Parayko right now.

Issue in hand with many of our defenseman on the left side is none of them are capable of playing the usage Parayko is put in to. Yet the FO keeps extending them to term and money with NTCs (Scandella, Leddy). Scandella was hurt most of last season but has played this year and been ok.

Most of the posts you’ve seen most likely have Krug and Perunovich both as starters. Which honestly unless we’re running 11-7 can’t happen. We desperately need an all situations top pair LD. But we can’t really afford to throw the chips on the table that would most likely be required to obtain one.

In another post I said that I think Vladar is a waiver claim next season, Copley and a pick would be shooting the lights out. Murry Edwards needs to be thrown off a Swiss Alp at this point.
