Can't see Seattle going for this. Borgen's been playing some quality hockey as their second pairing RHD, and is more important to the Kraken team than Garland would be. Garland would be helpful in the short term as the Kraken are dealing with injuries to Burakovsky and Tanev, but once those guys are back he'd be stuck in a bottom six role. For that contract and term, it's not really worth it for the Kraken to trade for him, especially at the cost of a key defender. Considering the Canucks' struggles to trade Garland to this point, I'm not sure he even has much trade value right now.
