I'm aware that Kane is a pipe dream - would go into the bargain bin trade market in the $1-2M range (maybe after retention) if he wouldn't sign. Though I think the chance to pair up as two of the greatest American players ever would be a pretty cool opportunity and a hard one to pass up.

Also wouldn't hate moving Domi and getting a more responsible two-way 3C. But we'll see, with the right line combo he definitely has the potential to really shine. Pairing him with Knies who he's had success with early and his old junior teammate Marner could be interesting.

Note - not a demotion to Marner, wouldn't bring his ice time down that much, more just balancing the lines. If Willy and Tavares connection starts to dip could consider flipping Nylander and Marner, won't affect their ice time much.

My ask from Sheldon would be to try to give Liljegren as much offensive opportunity as possible throughout the season - I know he has another gear production wise and it would add such a layer to the D core as I've constructed. Really happy with Lily as a two way defender though and he'd do a fine job on PP2 either way.
