He's played lots of playoffs there and is one of their experienced defensemen who's been there for a while, he's gonna make the team.

He will def make the team but he should be told flat out he is NOT a consistent top 6 meaning he will play maybe 40 - 50 games and act as a 7th D on many occasions - this may piss him off and he may ask to leave but his contract still makes him almost impossible to trade - Sather really sucked on this one

Even if he's really good for 50 games in a row, Nobody's taking him, even at 2.85m. Too many years left!
