Trying to avoid Fugly in light of Tage injury

I'd be all for bringing in Duclair, but not at the expense of Krebs, or any BUF or ROC player. Give them draft pick(s).

Probably stand pat, let the young guys play up and develop. If Thompson is back by the deadline and within close proximity to WC spot, then maybe buy but idk. Feels like a year to gain picks and be in on double retention.

Point taken. But last season when injuries decimated the defense, KAGM stood pat. It cost them.

I think moving Krebs would do the least amount of damage to the team both near and long term.

I'm also of the opinion that Jost is a better fit this year on the 4th line and looking ahead to next year, they should seriously upgrade 4C with a quality vet

Krebs, to me, is a 4th line player so I'm trading that for a mid-six winger.

That said, moving a third rounder wouldn't kill Buffalo.

Not sure how the Sharks would accept trading Duclair for a player about to be a free agent (even if its restricted). They'd probably prefer a near-ready prospect or a pick.
