Description
And for the love of everything that is holy....get him off PP1...

Also, WhyTF is Dvorak getting all the premium time with Caufield and Slafquatch, PP time and overtime over Monahan? He's done didly squat to deserve the playing time, and now Monahan has Anderson basically anchoring him down on the "3rd line"... I don't get it. Is St-Louis being told by management to showcase Dvorak???

On a positive side. Struble is legit, it's going to be hard to send him back down to Laval. Let's see what Norlinder can do and put him in for the CBJ game.

The idea with Dvorak is that Caufield and Slafs were (probably) told "Don't worry too much, go out and play your game, Dvorak will be there to support you if you get caught".
It's given them the confidence to attack and try some things and it's been working to an extent. It might work better with Monahan, but since this is just a development line we may not care as much about results as process.

There's no answer for Anderson right now. We need to help him get that first goal somehow. Hopefully that's enough for him to come around.

St-Louis has now spent a quarter of a season catering to every need of Anderson to get him going. No reduction in ice time, PP1 time, basically every opportunity has been thrown at him. I say a bit of tough love, put on the 4th line.

And the more I think about it, when was the last time Anderson has laid a big hit?! Dude used to give one out once or twice a game, don’t think I’ve seen one all season.

The 4th line is being used too heavily defensively which isn't the best place for Anderson. Anywhere else is fine.
I don't think St Louis has been catering to anyone really. He's not focused on results. He's looking for process and progress.
He could deploy Anderson in the offensive zone more frequently and/or increase his minutes, but he's choosing not to.

That said, Anderson is indeed being given enough opportunity to produce. It's up to him from here.
He hasn't thrown in the towel or started cheating to find opportunities. He's doing everything that is asked except for scoring. As long as it's not for lack of trying, we can deal with it.
