Reshaping the D next year and making a chippy 4th line

So waste an asset to dump a guy who costs 200k to bury and another who is basically their most important PKer next to Marner

How about no lul

Like the 4th line has been better recently since they rotated guys around

2.4M on Kampf can be spent so much better, get a defensive 4C for around 1M and spend the rest on D

Would rather not waste the limited assets we have and just keep the guy whose helping our PK

Lets not have another Marleau situation shall we

As spending a 1st to move a guy who helps with the defense and PK is just a non lul

In general give Kampf good linemates and we see nice things


Lets be honest if Engvall and Mikheyev were still leafs or if they had kept Acciari and Lafferty he would be doing much better

Gregor and McMann have worked but they are not the guys above. Than you had Reaves dragging him down a bit as we overused that guy. Should be in and out like every other team was doing lul. And as soon as they did it, guess what it worked lul. Heck even when he came back wasnt a headache

To me the big mistake was moving Lafferty as he and Kampf were developing strong chemistry especially R2 of the playoffs.

Either way I think if they can just surround him with 2 nice pieces it will be fine and there are some options

Been suggesting along with Hanafin to try and get Greer whose got 4 goals and assists rn on CGY 4th line

Gregor-Kampf-Greer could be very interesting
