I can't see Carolina adding picks to this deal. Otherwise, it's interesting but I can't see Carolina moving off Necas unless Lindholm were willing to re-sign for a reasonable figure (nothing 8M+).

I think Lindholm would extend on reasonable terms in CAR.

First of all, Canes quickly and very easily decline that. They won’t be moving any big pieces for a rental to play 3C for a quarter of the year. And since Lindholm will be asking for 8.5mil in a long term deal (ala Horvat and PLD), he isn’t going to be signed by the Canes either. Add in Vladar is of no interest and Dube wouldn’t have a spot on the roster, it’s quite a lopsided trade.
