Campbell to Montreal isn't going to work. Of course you can pay enough to perhaps convince them otherwise, but I wouldn't take Campbell for anything less than a 1st and Bourgault or Holloway.
No problem sending Allen back in that deal without retention, but I'm not locking up another slot into next season on top of taking Campbell.
If Edmonton also retains $1.4M on Campbell, I'd consider it. That would make a Campbell buyout a little more palatable after the Allen retention expires.

I might take a chance on a Kovacevic for Lavoie swap to round out that trade, but Savard will likely have more value as a rental in his final year at full retention and he's buying time for Mailloux/Reinbacher by playing heavy minutes for us until then.

I just did this on another ACGM thread and I had quite alot more going back to MTL. Just cause Campbell contract. Not sure what to think of value wise. Seen lots of options

Montreal might do this and buyout Campbell in June. Those are two good prospects and a 1st rounder coming back.
