I'd be ok with this as an Oilers fan, but I think Pens fans won't think that's enough to dump Campbell.

Pens easily decline. They have no need for Broberg or a 5mill back up goalie. It's a huge waste of cap space. You couldn't reasonably pay them enough draft capital to do this.

I don't think so. For better or worse, the Pens intend to compete for another few years. Broberg and a 1st are a hard proposition to ignore, but Campbell's 3 more seasons after this one and 10 team NTC would be tough to swallow.

You can't force Carter to waive his NMC no matter how hard you wish it to happen.
