I think you got the 3rd on the wrong side of that trade Holloway has enough value to make Campbell disappear now that other prospect has slightly more value then Allen, just my two sense

Since Montreal's already retaining on Petry & Edmundson, they wouldn't be able to retain on both Pearson and Allen.

I also think you're a little light on the Monahan return - honestly, if I'm burning that last retention slot on anybody, I'd use it on him. I think if he keeps up his pace, you could get a 2nd and a good prospect back for him if you retain him to a sub-$1M AAV.

Yes is pretty bad indeed worst contract in the league hands down but Holloway is pretty much considered untouchable by most oilers fans I’d be very surprised if they actually used him to dump Campbell verses just buying him out at the end of the season and not waste the assets, if they were gonna dump Campbell I’m sure they woulda done it by now
