I absolutely love Byram, but that trade is mental. KJ is cost controlled another year and Byram's concussions are extremely concerning. And the Huberdeau deal....yikes

Byram hasn’t had a concussion in two seasons. Also as the avs I don’t do this trade. The main reason being for cap reasons. But also not a fan of Provorov

I wouldn't do that deal if I was in charge of the Avs. A proven supremely skilled dman in his early 20's is worth far more then a young winger who hasn't established himself yet and an overrated dman with a bloated contract.

As much as I don't like Laine and his contract any trade that could possible get Calgary out from under that Huberdeau deal is a win. Calgary should accept.
