Description

My take on what I would try and do to get the reconstruction moving along.
I'm thinking Xhekaj and Barron could potentially be back given that Habs would still need young Defensive pairs with NHL experience.

I'd give Nylander his 11.5M$/8yrs or 13M$/5yrs to get the best winger out there for Suzuki.

And I try to make a move for Marchessault to come to MTL for a good salary and 2 years.

I'd bring back Monahan if Dach is finally healthy. Sign Tuch but send him to Laval for prep work.

It doesn't leave much room for cap space, but knowing half the team will go on some sort of injury at some point, it will provide that cap space.

I think you overlooked one important aspect in the Nylander signing.... Only Toronto can sign him for 8 years, everyone else can only do a max of 7 years

Read the info below the trade. I chose ARZ just as a dumping ground, but the players would go anywhere for something in return. Makes no sense giving up Allen, and Dvorak with salary retention for nothing at all. . Armia.. Could be for future considerations..
