Description

Backy and Oshie call it quits (though Backy doesn't make it public or it will cost against the cap). Kuz agrees to terminate his contract and head back to Russia.

I wouldn't do this, by the way. Probably not best to get both Reinhart and Guentzel but like I said, it's balls to the walls to really give Ovi a chance at another Cup. And before people complain that either of those players will get more, the Caps have the cap space to afford it.

Only bad thing about this lineup is Leonard, Cristall and Suzdalev will need playing spots the next couple years and the only player getting off this top 9 the next couple seasons is Ovi. Guess it's a good problem to have.

I've seen like 10 OTT fans do this trade for Chychurn or Chabot. Maybe Caps add a little something else but would make sense for both teams.

I would do this for Chabot with a 2024 1st instead. Def not for Chychrun

Jensen will be 34 next season, i no way shape or form should OTT spend anything more than 3rd or 4th round pick for him yet alone him being the center peice in a chabot deal
