Description
... assuming we aren't on his M-NTC ...

I think he could be the perfect fit. We really need a 3C now, but if the time comes, someone that wouldn't mind sliding over for Chytil. Henrique is comfortable playing both. Veteran guy with a knack for big goals. Battler. Good on the dot. We don't need another big name that'll disappear when needed most.

If Chytil were to return, or be close to returning at the TDL, NYR may need a 3rd team to retain. This hopefully shouldn't cost too much extra. A 3rd or another similar-tier prospect would go to that 3rd team.

ANA could have their pick at which 2 prospects go, as long as it's not Cuylle, Othmann or Robertson. I think anyone else is fair game.

If Chytil does return, then he slots in on the 3rd line and Cuylle/Vesey/Bonino rotate in on the 4th line with Goodrow.

Outside of a 3C, I really don't think NYR need anything else. If Kakko struggles, then you would have to swap him with Wheeler or another winger. It's not perfect, but not much else you can do. I think it'd be a waste of assets to spring for a top 6 RW right now when you don't know if Chytil is returning. That 3C hole will get exploited in the playoffs big time. And in terms of affordable 3Cs that can produce, I think Henrique is the best - and maybe even the only - option.

I would accept that offer as the Anaheim GM.

... that's your only takeaway from this? What a ray of sunshine you are.

I mean it’s a common trade I’ve seen and not against it. Drury can’t do anything until he knows more about Chytil. They definitely need another winger since they’re 1 injury away from Wheeler or 4th liner moving up

Robertson has no value as a prospect, but I’d rather not trade Sykora, Berard or Perreault either

There's no such trade on the 1st page of Rangers trades, it's just RW trades or stuff for next year
