Jackets aren’t trading for knight unless Elvis is moved. I also don’t see them adding that much retention

Luostarinen and Laine are the same age, but Laine at least has shown his ceiling is more than just middle-6. CBJ say no because Laine >> Luostarinen, no need for Knight, and the picks might cover the retention alone.

Not even close to getting both Boqvist and Laine with retention out of Columbus, Since you don't have any 1st round picks for the foreseeable future. This deal isn't happening.
