Why is it only do so many folks want to trade Leafs upcoming UFAs? Seems like it's the Leafs, who plan on being Cup contenders would have no desire to trade two key members of their team for futures. Most contenders trade at the TDL to get stronger, not panicking and trade away good players.
Thornton.the Sedins are fading fast. Can't imagine the Leafs would think these guys would really help the team next year.
