Trades
1.
MIN
  1. 2024 5th round pick (VAN)
Additional Details:
Nucks' 5th is almost a 6th.
TOR
  1. Maroon, Patrick
Additional Details:
Maroon at 800K is a bargain. The guy adds championship pedigree, grit, size and is actually on pace to post his best season offensively since 18-19 in St. Louis. Also a great locker room presence.
2.
MIN
  1. Raanta, Antti
  2. 2024 3rd round pick (CAR)
Additional Details:
A 3rd is fair value for a HOF goalie who not only is a great player but also a box-office hit and a PR fantasy.

Raanta is in to make the money work and open up a spot for Flower, with no actual value for a guy who cleared waivers. Also gives us the option to keep Wallstedt developing in the AHL.
CAR
  1. Fleury, Marc-André
Additional Details:
Fleury needs to waive his NMC, but making the postseason for the 18th time in a row might be what he wants if this indeed is his last season.

He is a capable 1B for the final stretch of the regular season and a very good backup option for the playoffs, as well. Also the most liked guy in the league.
3.
MIN
  1. 2025 5th round pick (PIT)
Additional Details:
If the Pens make the 2nd round, the pick becomes a 4th in 2024.
PIT
  1. Bogosian, Zach
Additional Details:
Pens might be light buyers since Dubas wants to give the Crosby-core one last go. They need a defensive presence, however. Bogosian gives just that: he is a big, powerful defensive defenseman. And cheap.
4.
MIN
  1. Koch, Patrik
  2. 2024 4th round pick (ARI)
Additional Details:
Arizona might want to add just a little bit. And, boy, do they have the picks to make a deal!

Playoff hockey in Mullett Arena would be fun and a statement that hockey belongs in the desert. Goligoski would be a cheap addition and he already has familiarity with the organization.

Koch, an AHLer is added because the Yotes have too many contracts.
ARI
  1. Goligoski, Alex ($500,000 retained)
  2. 2024 5th round pick (VAN)
Additional Details:
Goligoski has denied a trade last trade deadline and last summer. But as he only has one spring left on his deal and the Wild have no intention of resigning him, maybe he agrees to go somewhere where he can chase another Cup. He would move away from his family for only two or three months, not for a year like it would have been in the summer.

Goligoski is a good depth option at this stage. Injury insurance and a veteran presence. Wild can also retain to make it easier to absorb his cap hit.

We could also trade Merrill here, but he still has a deal for 1,2 million the next year, as well. I don't think he gathers much interest in the trade market.
5.
MIN
  1. 2024 5th round pick (CHI)
Additional Details:
Lindholm, Tanev, Hanifin... we can retain on Dennis Gilbert for all I care!

The pick would obviously come from the buying team, not Calgary, but you get the point.
CGY
Wild can use Spurgeon's LTIR money to act as a 3rd party in Calgary's fire sale. We can get a pick(s) like we did last year when retaining O'Reilly and Co.
    6.
    MIN
    1. 2024 3rd round pick (WPG)
    2. 2024 5th round pick (WPG)
    Additional Details:
Dewar was drafted in the 3rd round, so I doubt he'd go for anything less. He is the kind of addition that doesn't make that big of a splash but turns out to be the best one made.

If the Jets make the Finals, the 3rd becomes Montreal's 2nd in 2024, which the Jets own.
    WPG
    1. Dewar, Connor
    Additional Details:
Dewar is a competitor. He is a fast skater, a great penalty-killer (the Jets rank surprisingly tied for 22nd in the league), and defensively very responsible. A great depth piece for a contender's 4th line. He is also an RFA after the season.
    7.
    MIN
    1. 2024 5th round pick (PHI)
    Additional Details:
A 5th for a good 4th liner seems fair. Last deadline, Oskar Sunqvist went for a 4th, Vlad Namestnikov for a 4th, Brendan Lemieux for a 5th and so on...

    Also, Duhaime is from Florida.
    FLA
    1. Duhaime, Brandon
    Additional Details:
Duhaime would fill a gritty fighter/agitator role currently held by Jonah Gadjovich. The difference between them is that Duhaime can also play decent hockey. He is a good depth piece for a run in the playoffs.

If possible I would like to keep Raanta as organizational depth but it isn't a deal breaker for me.
