Sammy probably hasnt regained his game, after 1 solid game, (nothing else has changed on the team, other than woll still being out) and at 3.5mil (or 2.4mil if he goes back to minors) hes a chunk of cap space TOR could use. UPL has been okay, not the best stats but showed he can play 40 games and be pretty steady for a young guy. Hes probably in the 1.4-2.4mil range resign. For BUF having two youngster goalies behind that defense has been a bad idea. Bryson is a nice utility defender.

Jokiharju is more injury prone than Cernak is going to want a raise this coming season and it's pretty obvious Julien Brisebois doesn't put a high value on picks probably not.

Yeah, it depends really. I think if they miss the playoffs, they have to start thinking about a bit of a retool (and while cernak is low on the list of players they'd move, its a cheaper, younger guy with maybe some more offensive upside and two very good picks). Joki has been solid, but his re-sign is likely in the 3-3.5 range, and hes one of the few BUF defenders to actually be a solid defender.
