Can anyone tell me if this move to free up cap space would result in a big chunk of Connor Browns bonuses being applied this season, and therefor reducing overages for next season. Hopefully someone who understand cap overages better than me can answer this!

Yes it does any cap space left at the end of the season covers overages so right now it would be 3.25m-2.8m=450k that would come off the cap space next year. Ik it can be confusing
