    Don’t think the Sabres would be willing to trade back for Barron- he’s too young & unproven at this point for us to be able to count on

    We generally don’t draft for need anyways,
    so even if the RD are gone when we pick, it might not matter to us
    If anything, we might be willing to trade the 1st for a RD who’s already established in the league, but still young enough to fit our timeline- so someone around 26yrs old

    But idk?
    That’s all up in the air right now

    Also,
    If we think we can sign a UFA, someone like Matt Roy for example, then our need for RD goes away & it’s no longer an immediate issue for us
