Additional Details:

Hard to pinpoint Lindgren’s value - Great locker-room guy with minimal offensive contribution, but solid defensive metrics against tough top-four competition. I doubt he’d be moved in the first place given how much the org likes him, but I’d rather see Miller get a shot with Fox, and Lindgren-Trouba would probably be a disaster.

He probably fetches what you have here at a minimum or a 2nd + B Prospect at best is my guess. He does chew up minutes and he’s in his prime years

I hope so, its hard to say when you’re just acquiring rights. I purposefully stayed on the conservative side to keep the conversation on track. If the Rangers could get a Defensive prospect back, that would be ideal.

I mean picks are lottery tickets and Lindgren is a sure thing = NHL Caliber Player. He’s at a perfect age to sign long term, but he’ll likely want a raise so needing a team with Cap Space for a Player like him is all you need. A 2nd/3rd that may or may not even help you for 3-5 years and an okay prospect for a need you can lock up to term now seems fair to me
