Wow. There’s a lot unpack here. This team just got a lot worse. KK struggles offensively but he’s a perfect defense first 3C. He’s probably going to be Staal’s long term replacement at 1.2M cheaper. Zero reason to buy him out. That Necas package doesn’t interest me in the slightest. If we’re trading him it’s for a big time scorer, not futures. Pass on giving Skjei that contract. He’s 30 and we have Nikishin coming soon. Teravainen isn’t getting that much, he’s probably walking. Jarvis will get a nice deal, but it won’t be a 8x8, he hasn’t proven enough for that yet. Finally, Felix-Unger Sorum will get a roster spot over Kapanen.

No thanks from NSH. Necas isn't someone I'd give up that kind of return for, and another RW is the least of their needs.

The team above is much better than the current edition from my POV.

Whoever Parssinen is and Kapanen in the top 9 is a massive downgrade.

I’d let Skjei and Tervainen go, re sign Necas, Jarvis at a 5.5-6M bridge deal. Monahan could be an interesting target for 2C but KK stays as 3C. Also Chatfield>Kulikov

You can't say you don't like the deal if you don't know who Parssinen is. He's legit. Kapanen is also a fine 3rd liner.
Skjei and Teravainen should stay IMO. Gotta start locking up a core.
