The Rangers, Tampa, Dallas, EDM, VGK and Boston trades are all from the 23/24 deadline.

The SJ trade: I know Sharks fans will pitch a fit, but even though Hertl is still playing well that's a tough contract to move especially at his age, and instead of most teams who'd require retention, you get a decent player in return and three draft picks. I doubt anyone will send a top prospect for Hertl unless there's some major retention.

I'm aware SJ has no "need" for Rakell. This is a money move instead of retaining for the entirety of Hertl's contract.
