So many issues with these trades, but the two that stand out...

1) Ned easily gets a 2nd.
2) That's not enough for Jake. Neither of those pieces are quality enough. 1st, A-prospect and either a 2nd or good young roster player.
3) Dubas isn't retaining on Smith

Avs decline. They aren't trading the guy who replaces Ned next year when they can't afford to re-sign him. Annunen is the Avs ONLY goalie of any note in their system.

lol what?! That’s a gross overpay for Vegas, especially without a new contract. He’s a rental. I would do first an third and a prospect. That’s where it ends. The prospect isn’t our top one either like it is with Brisson, and I’m not giving up Carrier if we are trying to run it back like that.
