Description
Can we just take a moment and appreciate the dominance of Slaf for like the past two months? The kid has 19 points in the past 22 games. Currently riding a 6 game point streak with 5 goals and 4 assists. He’s been trusted with more ice time and he’s been making it count.

Good for him, kid has crazy potential. I still think Montreal should have sent him back to Europe or kept him in the AHL after he was drafted though. It would have done him well

Management wanted to but coach Marty insisted on working with him and management trusted St Louis. Turned out he was right

Looks very good and I’m very happy for him but I don’t think he’s playing particularly better than he was early in the year (this is more of a credit to his early year play than a shot at his current play)

Early in the year he was with bad linemates, shooting a ridiculously unlucky 3%, and not getting PP1 time

Now he’s with top line teammates to create for him, PP1 time, and a shooting% of about 16%

Been VERY impressed with him on the power play, less so at 5v5

He's has been a delight to watch, still some things to work on but he has been impressive. The chemistry the 1st line has been showing is what we were all hoping for, glad it's coming to fruition.
