Description

In the latest Athletic article, Armstrong made it clear that top 10 NHL teams are true contenders that trade 1sts for players at TDL. He won't mortgage any of the future to add to a WC team, but he also said he won't sell off players unless the return brings enough value to potentially make up for the downside effect on the team's morale.

To summarize:
Available for trade: Kapanen, Vrana, Scandella, Blais - likely need 4th rounder or better to move any of these and can retain up to 50% for the first 3.
Want to trade but NTC: Krug, Saad (Faulk/Leddy are close to this but probably safe)
Would trade for a big haul: Buchnevich (ideally, re-sign him to 5 year deal this July)

Unavailable under any circumstances: Thomas, Kyrou, Snuggerud, Neighbours, Parayko, Binnington, Hofer, Sundqvist (strongly believe he has an unspoken NTC for taking a league min deal)
