Description
Please take note that I wouldn't expect that to be the entire trade, more just a base.
Trades
1.
BUF
  1. Gourde, Yanni
  2. Ottavainen, Ville
  3. 2024 2nd round pick (SEA)
Additional Details:
Gourde to help with the defensive side of the game and to fill the void left immediately.
Ottavainen as a decent, large RHD prospect.
Second for a bit of extra value.
Seattle won't be trading their 1st this year and I'm not really sure if more needs to be added. Maybe Seattle trades Eberle for a 1st and that gets sent instead of the 2nd.

Honestly not sure what else would be added.
SEA
  1. Mittelstadt, Casey
Additional Details:
Mitts signs long term with Seattle.
Mittelstadt can either fill 2C in Seattle or replace Eberle on the top line on the wing.
2.
BUF
  1. 2024 4th round pick (NYR)
  2. 2025 5th round pick (MIN)
Additional Details:
Last resort for the Rangers or could be any team interested. Could be a decent depth add as he should have something to prove for a new contract next season.
NYR
  1. Olofsson, Victor ($2,375,000 retained)
3.
BUF
  1. 2024 5th round pick (SEA)
  2. 2025 7th round pick (COL)
Additional Details:
Any team of he is wanting to go to a playoff team. I feel like they would respect him if he wanted to stick around.
COL
  1. Johnson, Erik ($1,625,000 retained)
4.
BUF
Potentially gone to any team, sorry Anaheim for being at the top of the list.
    ANA
    1. Comrie, Eric
    2. Girgensons, Zemgus
    3. Robinson, Eric
    Additional Details:
Other guys I could see being traded but could also see either not drawing much interest or sticking around.

Gourde isn't that special, and only just one year left on his contract. Sabres would have to love Ottovanian to make the trade.

I just don't see them wanting to let either go as they don't have replacements available. Prospect is underrated though.
