As much as I would hate to see this as the Rags are one of my least favorite teams, I would be happy for Dubas to pick a direction and get this kind of return for a rebuild.

The longer he waits to offload the core (if he even does) the longer the rebuild will be. Crosby & Guentzel obviously get the best returns, it'll be hard to offload Malkin/Leteng due to their contracts/age. Karlsson could get a half decent return if they retain 50% but it baffles me (and probably everyone) how he is not producing at least at a 70 point pace (currently 62, 39 less points than when on San Jose last year).

You’d have to add laf and KK to make it fair but I think the pens would have to really consider it

If you watch Ranger games you would know Cuylee is not on the 4th line, he plays LW on the 3rd line. Goodrow centers the twin towers. And this is a horrible trade idea for the Rangers BTW.
