MTL
  1. Vlasic, Marc-Édouard
Additional Details:
Shark are rebuilding and can barely ice a NHL team.

They get 2 great guys to build a culture for their youth. Gally and Anderson are not the players they used to be but they work hard on the ice and have a lot of heart.

Primeau is a promising Goalie and Harris could easily slot in your top 4. He is the odd man out in MTL, but he is quite good.

Then you get a 2nd and two thirds.

And we take Vlasic.

Meh, I make them so much money. They probably wouldn't care as long as my work is done hahah.

I’d do this from the Sharks perspective.

I really don't think this is good for San Jose. The Anderson and Gallagher contracts are significantly bigger headaches than the Vlasic contract because of the extra years. A 2nd and (2) 3rds isn't enough to take on either one of them with how many years they have remaining.

As for the other players coming from Montreal, I don't think SJ wants them. Harris is completely redundant, Primeau is ok but doesn't add a ton of value and Tuch is a 22 year old who probably won't play significant games in the NHL. I don't have anything against Primeau and maybe SJ would want him in a different trade but I wouldn't take on a bad contract to acquire him.

Overall its a lot of small pieces for taking on two big cap headaches, and not a great use of the cap space we gained in the Karlsson trade.
