    If AA is 2.250 third line centre, I wouldn't think the Leafs have to to give up so much in a trade. There are probably options just in free agency. If Rosen is an NHLer that Vancouver would want, why would the Leafs trade him for another Dmen.? Make the deal but I can't see the Leafs giving up Dmen and more just to get another Dman.

    I thought maybe the AA price was a bit high, but to a division rival I thought it may not be market value.

    For the Tanev deal, Rosen is not the type of player we need. Tanev is a high end shutdown guy. Rosen isn't and can't be that. He'd be a guy with potential and ability to fight for a roster spot in Vancouver. Brooks/1st are the most valuable pieces in that deal.
