Jackets are better off keeping him than buying him out or paying to dump him. I don’t like some of his antics but he’s put up solid numbers this year and his contract isn’t that bad now. He can be an above average goalie if the jackets ever get a competent defense

Oh, I agree. I was just stating the Jackets are not going to trade him and give up significant assets to do it.

I will disagree on solid numbers. He is league average but the real contenders have goaltending that is above average or better.
