Description
I think these contenders would benefit by trading for these players for their playoff runs. Patches goes to Carolina for very little and goes to where his family lives to finish his career. Dowd/Edmondson are good center depth and defensive depth adds for Oilers that's affordable. Florida fills out their top 9 nicely. Though they might have to send a 4th to some other team to double retain to fit Mantha under the cap.

Honestly with Saros and Markstrom both off the market, now is the time to sell lindgren, too. A desperate team is gonna overpay.

If that's all your getting, just keep everyone and try to make the playoffs ...

To me, it would have to be a nice return (2nd or higher?) otherwise I'd say keep him at least until this time next year then sell.

I would eat my winter hat if they get any first rounders for any of these guys. I could see it if we send a pick ourselves or take a bum off their roster though. I would take these returns and be happy with them. I see it as a step in the right direction and the team can still be competitive now and next year with other changes. I am hoping GMBM pulls a young one off a roster again like last year...
