Description

I do not believe the Avs will be trading Joey simply because the cost will be too high. I also do not believe they're going to trade a 1st for anyone (and I seriously doubt Frost is available). Of the C's available that could reasonably play at 2C for the Avs, Wenny makes the most sense. No, he is not worth a 1st, even in a thin market simply because he doesn't produce at the level the guys who did get traded for 1sts so far; it's been a long time since he's put up 40+ points and he isn't producing much this year so his value isn't terribly high. I'd be willing to throw in a little more but a 1st is off the table. Seattle gets a solid D prospect in Behrens back they can sign and get into their system following the NCAA season.

I think COL are slightly overpaying here
Wennberg would make sense, not a flashy player but solid middle six C

Maybe a little but if you want the player, you might have to slightly overpay at the TDL; I originally didn't include the 3rd. Plus, it acts a bit as a bulwark against people saying it isn't enough. At the very least he's a better option that RyJo seeing as how he is a much better skater and he PK's although he isn't as good at the dot. He won't fill the net but that's okay; they just need someone that can keep up with the rest of the team.
