You don't seem understand how trade offers works. When a team's offer gets declined they need to make a better offer not a worse one.

Foote is not playing. He’s taking up a contract spot. Orlov will probably never play in NA. Vanecek is a cap dump for another year. You’d have to pay a team to take his contract. So your getting a top goalie and a very good bottom 6 guy for free.
