I would absolutely hate that trade for Tampa. I think Laughton is so overrated as an average third line center.

I think the higher price tag for Laughts is more about the guaranteed term more than pure skill value. Plus he's got those leadership qualities coaches eat up.

Highly doubt this happens though.

Well Johansen was placed on waivers so he’s outta the conversation for a centre spot - it’s likely he’s sent to the AHL. And form there you can never have too many centres, just move some to the wing if you’re that worried. Laughton can play the wing himself. But I don’t see Tampa overpaying this much again for a depth piece
