I like the idea of bringing in a project winger like Kaliyev (low risk/medium reward) but I can't see Roy/Lou liking Kaliyev.

I agree about Lou, but I'm not so sure Roy wouldn't like him. Patrick seems to be very analytically inclined and Kaliyev has very good fancy stats. Even playing down in the lineup this year his possession numbers are very good and xGF% is at 60.1%. Seems like he keeps the ice tilted the right way.

I just see it as 2 guys who still have potential and could use a change of scenery (Kaliyev slightly lower risk so I added the pick). Any reason why would Lou/Roy not like him, he checks two of Lou's boxes (clean shaven and wears low-ish number lol)
