This never happens and it is not going to happen. Team do not trade expiring UFAs and then resign them. Everyone realizes after the trade that it is time for both parties to move on. Jake is not coming back. This team is done for as a playoff team. This trade was the beginning of the rebuild process. The organization will avoid that word because it is a ticket sales killer but in reality we can start to take apart this roster as long as 87 is still here to sell those tickets.

His agent hasn't talked about a deal to anyone
I think he'll be sad going away
I think the Pens can offer as much $$$ as anyone else
